Top-Down-Oriented Information Model Framework
Contents Designing and planning include continuous information generating actions conducted by designers/planners in a top-down manner. Designing/planning approaches that mainly use detailed attribute information have recently been reviewed and "top-down-oriented" approaches have received attention, in which information is refined in a stepwise manner from upstream to downstream. In the laboratory, concerning an information model framework for embodying such "top-down-oriented" approaches as a system, they have established a prototype system using a large-scale structure, a space development support system, and a production planning support system as specific subjects. We hope to work with your company on practical applications of this system.
